…with the Villa Rufolo, in Ravello, as a backdrop, set in the gardens which enchanted Wagner, to be accompanied towards daylight by a musical roundup that goes from the Nocturne from Mendelssohn’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, to the Meditation from Massenet’s Thais, the Adagietto from Mahler’s Fifth and the Suite n. 1 from Grieg’s Peer Gynt. And, standing out in this rich programme, is the name of the young Genoese Conductor, Aurelio Canonici.
