… On May 3rd, on stage, Maestro Aurelio Canonici offered the audience, using music and with the help of a piano, an engaging reading of “West Side Story” … Thanks to this reading, performed by an artist , we discover new elements in widely known pieces and identify new interpretative cues: all exciting. Interviewed before the conference, Maestro Canonici spoke willingly about the layout of his lectures: “analyzing music, charm and its mystery, explaining how chords convey emotions” and underlined the concept of “mysterious” inherent in the music, of how “the soul can read in this, enter into its language, understand what is hidden in the compositional laboratory”.
