…The same happened during Ryszard Karczykowski’s concert, which included the Breslavia State Orchestra and the Leopoldinum Chamber Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of the Italian maestro Aurelio Canonici. Another time, another style, that has its particular enthusiasts. Aurelio Canonici’s interpretation, phraseology and elegance helped to revive the spirit of nineteenth century Italian opera, that is still immensely popular.
